Absolutely not. It's pretty apparent now that they're almost exclusive to Gen 6. Plus Alola forms kind of retcons it in a way as it gives GF an alternative path to redesigning fan favorites without attaching a retarded overpowered gimmick along with it

Lurantis is literally the only new Pokemon I actually like.

And I hope they remove megas. They aren't new Pokemon, and they're either insane or useless, no inbetween. It's best to just remove them and forget them like they should've done with Fairy type

Aloha forms are so much more hype than mega forms. Not only because they're less inclined to look fancy, but this is shit you get to meet in the wild and isn't behind some stone you found in a cave that you can't be assed to test out on the pokemon corresponding to it.

They're not revealed because there likely aren't any new ones. They're not going to advertise old megas. They have other things to advertise. People want to see what's new, like Alolan varieties.

Why do you think GF would create 40 pokemon forms with tailored stats and abilities and then remove them? These aren't something like secret bases which doesn't impact the big picture of the game. This is a battle mechanic that has impacted the metagame for the last three years and all GF needs to do is literally transfer the data over. It's no work for them to do so but it's a giant and unnecessary risk to remove them because... why exactly?

I prefer if they give pre-existing poke more love first.
It would be great if at least 10% of all pokemon up to gen 5 get Alolan form. I don't need 20/30%, just 10%.

Why do people still think this is possible? You are carrying a team of level 70s by the time you finish two regions in Hg/Ss.

By the time you got halfway through your third region you'd have a team of level 100 Pokemon. You'd either have to reduce all of your levels every time you got to a new region or seriously modify the level up system to make it a hell of a lot slower or something.
Too much work, too much change, won't happen.

I'd really like a game where we can start in whatever region we want and go to any other region for the post game though.

I remember the problem with gen 2 was that since they balanced it for two regions I would constantly over level and make most parts of the game easy.
The only way they could make it work would be to raise the cap for that game but then it causes all kinds of problems.
They could maybe make a rule where you can't carry pokemon over to the next region or just do what you said and let you choose a region for the story and then visit anywhere.

I love Lurantis. Easily my favourite of the new Pokemon. The only issue I have with it is that I want to choose the grass starter and I have trouble justifying a second spot on my team for a grass type which doesn't even have a second typing.
