Literally what's the point of a pure normal Clefable and Wigglytuff or a pure psychic Mr. Mime other than making shit even more confusing? What about babymons bred from them, would they have the fairy type?
By "pre-gen 6 stats" I assume he means that those Pokémon won't have the 10+ BST some of them got in gen 6, right? Because there's no fucking way they're going to mess with the special stat from gen 1.
If he said "pre-gen 7 typings/stats" it'd make perfect sense, since those Pokémon would be no different from the ones transferred from PokéBank - so fire-type Ninetales, ground-type Sandslash and Exeggcute that evolve into regular grass/psychic Exeggutor instead of their Alola variants.
I sure hope that was only a typo.
