The leaks mentioned a snowman pokémon so there's that at least.

But I don't doubt that's the only ice-type line native from Alola, after all, the description for Alola Vulpix mentions that it moved to the snowy mountains exactly because it wanted to avoid the normal habitats of the native Alolamons.

I'd still say it's dumb.

Ninetales is 4x weak to Steel, and neither the of the two lines look like the type of animal to live in a snowy climate.
