Make the body have a more sandy exterior to blend in with sea floor
Make the tail a different color, green or brown or something kelp-like. Maybe split it off into more pieces to make it even more kelpy looking, could just make it look like a big rock too idc.
Tongue also designed to look like kelp, has suction cups though. Maybe split it into two.
Blends in with sea floor and kelp gardens by laying on it's stomach, waits for prey and snatches it with tongue(s).
When it feels threatened it uses it's tongue to pull itself into the sand and (upside down) displays a menacing face.
