I don't understand how people skip mainline games from a franchise. I understand it if you have no money, but why so scare about trying something new? Don't you like video games or what?

Pokemon ALWAYS has the same formula, even with the Mega Evolutions it followed the same line.

We're nearing 1000 different pokemon. I think it's safe to say that getting new "pokemon" by way of old 'mons getting new forms is quite fucking alright at this point.
