The biggest problem with megas, is the arbitrary 100 point stat gain. With everything getting the same boost, the power gap is merely shifted instead of being shortened. They dropped the ball on certain mega abilities too.
I don't want mega evolution to go, but if gamefreak doesn't go back to rebalance the game, then I'd rather they disappear,
Save the models, alter stats, and use them as forms. Done.
