Don't tell me GameFreak isn't capable of designing a unique badass fire tiger/panther without putting it on two legs.
On a related note, we have never gotten a truly quadrupedal Fire starter evolution, and Litten was the perfect opportunity.
Hopefully the split evo leak was also true, so maybe there's still hope[\spoiler]
