What would be your perfect dex size?

I think 250 would be the best number, avoid new pokemon every route like XY but can get a lot of variety

I'd like if they bumped up the dex size by having hidden alcoves and shit were you can catch pokemon you can't find anywhere else, sorta like with Bagon or mirage island but all over the map

The games need to reward exploration more, rather than just throwing rare candies behind cuttable trees

There going to be around 800 Pokemon so I highly doubt they would make a dex less than 250, because there seems to be so many different terrains on Alola, I can see there being at least 400 Pokemon in the dex with around 100 being New Pokemon. Also, it could make 100 Pokemon per island dex.

I'd say 100 or so new Pokemon is ideal. It's a large enough number where you still get a decent variety and a small enough number where you don't get a bunch of poorly designed shitmons as filler like with Gen V.

Around 100 new Pokémom each gen is a perfectly reasonable number, and I think a regional dex of around 210 is perfect. I also like Kanto and Unova's (first) distribution though, so basically anywhere from 150 to 250 is perfect for me.

350. (Not including the National Dex or Megas which do not factor into the count.)

50-100 New Pokemon if it's a "new generation".

10-40 Variants depending on how geographically isolated or foreign the environment is. I REALLY, REALLY love the Variant mechanic and think it should be included as a standard to be carried over into every game from now on.
