But why are they called Z moves in the first place. Its like no one is questioning this.

Does this have anything to do with Zygarde? Or Kalos? "Mega Evolutions" or "Primal Reversions" at leas mean something but "Z"?

Basically GFs way to lazily implement the "Z" from "XY and Z" into the games, so they don't have to make a Pokemon Z game
