My team as of now is Emboar, Eelektross, Scolipede, Golurk, Rufflet and Reuniclus.

I really enjoyed the story, the end of the team Plasma plot in particular I thought was the best in the series so far.

Darmanitan wasn't really doing anything for me. I do like how it looks like a Klonoa monster though.

The exp system was so-so.

I got an Audino pretty much straight away in Pinwheel forest, is there more to it?

The first gym was shitty and I fucking hate those stupid fucking monkeys.

I never really noticed people talking to me like I'm the Champ, though it made sense from a key character perspective what with the hero shit.

Pokemon Rangers are pretty nice.

38 hours and I just beat Ghetsis. My team is more or less level 50, I caught all the pre-Ghetsis legendaries and my Pokedex is at 120~ seen 86~ caught. I never really had trouble (other than with Clay's Excadrill for some reason) up until the Pokemon League where in I had to stop and grind because I was extremely under levelled and they were decimating me. Ghetsis still nearly obliterated me with his Seismitoad, Buffoulant and Hydreigon though.

I'm playing BW2 right now and I love it even more, it's like the premium version of bw, the character sprite animation is better, nice little touch ups on the graphics here and there, and challenge mode.

I actually lost to the first two gyms, cause of the tanky lilipup with work up, and an all poison team verses snivy.

It's been ages since I actually enjoyed a pokemon game

Gen 4 kept me away because gen 4 bored me half to death so I figured maybe I was just growing out of Pokemon or something.

I think the clincher (other than the fact I had to actually choose between favourites for my team since in gen 4 I could barely fill a balanced team with my favourites) was Skyarrow bridge. The second I stepped onto Skyarrow bridge my mind was just blown and I had to actually check I was still playing a Pokemon game.

As per my team Eelektross, Golurk, Braviary, Reuniclus and Scolipede are my current top contenders but I'm also a fan of Haxorus, Unfeazant, Krookodile, Joltik, Sigyliph for some weird reason and Cofagrigus.

I am also going to give (you tried) points to Throh and Sawk.

Sawk quickly shot up to my favorite fighting type after soloing Ghetsis' Hydreigon. Sturdy into Low Kick into Reversal is the combo I'll never forget.

I pretty much expected it. I mean, it was pretty clear by that point that he was just evil anyway.

I wasn't expecting to fight him though. I spent the whole game waiting to face the sages and when I never did by the Pokemon League I just dropped my guard.

Both of you should know that these games were even better when we didnt know what we were going to find pokemon-wise or what anything would evolve into.

These games hit so hard in the nostalgia when i think of them and playing them on day 1.

That being said go into SM with an open mind. Things are changing up a ton in SM, so just finish em and let them make their impression

Not him, but fuck yeah. I played only gen 1 years ago and then because of Go and Sun/Moon marathoned the rest. Started White a few days back and Krookodile and Archeops are fucking crazy. I absolutely love it.
