If I wanted to make a team each game that was comprised solely of Pokemon given to you or ones that you encounter in the plot, how would I go about that? I guess I'm asking for a 'canon' team, if that makes sense.

Example for Yellow version
Pikachu, Bulbsaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Lapras, Snorlax

Crystal:
Starter, Togepi, Eevee, Red Gyarados, Tyrogue, Dratini
