Fair enough. Steel and ghost are definitely borderline for me, but I prefer the idea of *eons being "elemental" so I bumped up Steel and down Ghost.

That's a fine rule of thumb, I respect it.

In all honesty i just don't like how GF usually does steel design-wise, i feel like we'd get some shit like a silver eevee with a pointless cog around its neck and a rivet texture or something stupid and lazy like that. The quicksilver or mercury idea that another anon posted is at least a fresh thought.

I've wanted ghost to complete the Espeon Umbreon "Spectreon" trifecta since gen 2 though.

Bug Eevee doesn't seem compatible. Most Eeveelutions already have lens-like eyes and none have segmented joints, antennae, or defined mouthparts. Would be out of range of them.

Draconeon is kind of long. Drakeon sounds better.

Galvineon is alright, but putting the entire word into it is kind of... Autistic.

I actually wouldn't've minded this. My main beef with Sylveon is design (all those ribbons), but Poison's one of my favorite types & having a foil to Sylveon would've made me a lot less bitter about it.

Fair point re: Chromeon. Honestly I'm a fan of Titaneon but, y'know, keep it short where you can.

I think I'm just really reluctant to go with Drakeon or similar for a dragon evo. I always preferred names like Mythreon or Wyrmeon or things that give the same sort of fantasy vibe w/o resorting to the obvious & overused.

Eevee is literally the only way I can go back to Gen 3 and below games and remember what the physical/special split was.
"Was it an eeveelution or dragon? Special. Was it not an eeveelution? Physical." That's how I keep track of shit like shadow ball being physical and knock off, pursuit, thief, and all of those being special.

The only new eeveelution I'd ever want to see is a dragon eevee or a new typing. Otherwise it would completely mess up the only reference point I have for physical/special split.

Its actually not a fakemon, but the artist's take on of a cat-moth hybrid, but its genuine appearance reminded me enough of an eevee.
