Why the fuck didn't Game Freak update X/Y when OR/AS came out? It really sucks that I can't trade or battle anyone with legendaries because of this shit.

The way GameFreak patches games, the update would be freakishly huge because they'd have to contain the entire new models/animations/textures file container from ORAS. That means like, 1.2 gb of redundancy or some shit.
