This is what I always thought would be a good place. Minneapolis, Green Bay, Detroit, St. Paul, Sudbury, Toronto, Cleveland. Enemy org. base is in lawless Chicago.

Forests, lakes, rivers abound. Desolated urban areas of Detroit and Chicago are natural areas for muk, garbodor, and others to lurk. Great Chicago fire gives great backdrop to tragic past.

After final four board ship and head to Unova region. Many baseball, hockey, football, and basketball (I think) teams abound.

I think this would be a great region.

As a person from Virginia I just came here to second the Virginia suggestion. You got the mountains and valleys in the west, the swampy coast, the big urban areas in the center and north. Throw in some more rustic Civil War-style towns to get more of the history feel.

Alaska. I want a day/night cycle that fluctuates depending on season. The Sun stays up in summer, doesn't come up at all during winter and has differing rise and set times in spring and fall, depending on how close you are to summer or winter.

Yes. When my brother lived u there he would regale us with gripping stories of how there is nothing to fucking do in the winter because everyone is snowed in. But there is a fix for that in the game; ignore it. Remember there is a big difference between not knowing and willfully ignoring.

Yes I'd love to see Makah, Salish and Chinookan influence in Pokémon designs. Also worth mentioning is the Hoh Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula and the variety of pokemon species it could support (safari zone?)

Well I could see Desert/Grasslands in the NM part and then shifts to mountains and forests (there is a volcano in Arizona so eh) and numerous lakes, then it goes to a river and another desert area before hitting more grassy areas.

I can also see Gym Leaders

Appalachia would be great. Southern WV could be an abandoned mining area with lots of rock and ground types. Most of it could be forest but Monongahela sticks out. The New River Gorge could be a nice point of interest.
