>>27581566I don't often call something edgy, but this is substantially edgy. Lose a couple of those horns going along the middle of its head, and the dark blue fur/flames should be drawn simplier if you want to make it more similar to Pokemon's style. Give its body stature, it looks like a base stage but it's sinister enough to be a final stage, so I'd recommend making its eyes larger and horns less developed, and then on a pair of wings and possible a scaly tail for the final stage.

Starters can more often than not get away with the "it just gets bigger" flaw since we want them to be similar to real world creatures maturing towards adulthood, but I feel that the base stage is a very weak link in all of this and that this line could survive with the middle and final stage alone, and instead have something else more interesting as the grass starter since it's essentially just a lion with a cat tail plant on its bum (although I love that detail to the pun, good choice). Also remember that people are most likely to compare this line with Luxray and friends, so keep that in mind while finalizing the end details.
>>27581845Good concept, but the end stage does not need to keep the cocoon's bandages. There are plenty of ways this line could be spruced up with features taken from egyptian treasures, right now it seems kind of "meh" and can definitely be more mystic than what it currently is.
>>27581909Bunnelby but with small horns instead of shovel ears. Jackalopes are an awesome creature design I'd love to see made into a fakemon, but this is completely too basic without including the final stage, come on man.
