The IVs are either amazing or dogshit depending on whether he's level 15 or 16. Won't know for sure till I get more candies.

The attacks seem good too. Lick has lower DPS than Zen Headbutt, but recovers faster for dodging. Earthquake doesn't get STAB, but should be harder to dodge cleanly with its long damage window.

Don't worry about 100% perfection. 0-15, that's perfect, is only about 15-20% difference. As long as you're 80s or up, you're fine.

And it's a feature. Buy incense and lures goyim, and then buy pokeballs because you'll be throwing 4-5 of them minimum per pokemon.

So I get why Nianshit is keeping legendaries for events, but, why is Ditto hidden as well? There's nothing special about Ditto, besides being able to transform. I doubt it will be useful like in actual games.

Flagstaff, Arizona. Small place. But I go to school here and there are clusters of gyms/pokestops on campus and downtown. Just hang out at a group of 4 lured stops while GF is socializing with her friends.

I have a feeling they just haven't found a way to incorporate it that they like yet.
Alternatively, they might be saving it as a test case for their first event. Just to see how events go, get feedback and test servers before unleashing the madness that is people's craving for legendary pokemon.

I dunno how typical 5% would be for an individual stat. Might be closer to 7-10%?

Anyway a 100% mon can expect to do about 25% more damage than a 0% mon before it faints, thanks to all 3 stats together.

Holy shit Flagstaff is like an oasis in a desert (literally, almost). Fucking 115 degrees all over Nevada and Arizona, nothing but shitty desert and sparse brush, until you drive up a nice incline into a beautiful city that smells like a fresh forest with trees all over. Going from 115 in Vegas to 75 degrees in Flagstaff made me cum in my pants.

Goddamn shame I didn't have Pokemon Go back then, though. Would have been great to wander around in such a nice place and catch things.

Guys, help me out. Should I make this a Venasaur? The HP is complete and utter garbage, but the attack and defense IVs are nearly perfect and it could make a good gym attacker. Sure as shit never putting it on defense, though.

I honestly feel like this whole thing is fucked. I've biked barely under 20km/h and barely get shit. Then I fucking drive to McDicks which is 4km away and I clock 3.8km on my 5km egg and my 2km egg hatches. I have no idea why.

Is it supposed to take forever to run into Pokemon or something? 90% of the time is spent walking from PokeStop to PokeStop, I'm really tempted to delete the app and go back to playing Radiant Historia on an emulator.

Shit like this pisses me off. In the games you couldn't catch most of the evolved pokemon, you had to train from the low level ones and evolve it yourself. Especially Gyrados, if you want one you have to evolve it from Magicarp. Having all of this stuff just sitting in the wild is stupid and takes away a big part of the game.

Multitude of reasons why it could have happened. A common one is you lost GPS for some time or it positioned you far away for a split second which can be due to your phone, sleep mode, physical obstacles such as buildings, tunnels and canyons.

Another one is you "moved too fast" while the game was running which sometimes gives out a softban in situations such as driving or taking public transport.

Seeing how it ended pretty quickly, it wasn't a serious softban.

And on that note, has anyone noticed a decline in drop rate for great and ultra balls? I went out for a walk yesterday, had over 100 pokeballs when I got home (after using a bunch to catch random weedles and other pokemon) but I only had 6 ultra balls (after using 0) and 12 great balls (only used a couple). I get ultra balls being rare but great balls shouldn't be so fucking rare compared to regular pokeballs.

Sorry to break it to you, but that's not how it works. You see bots themselves no longer work, but their accounts still exist, there were no bans. That means there is nothing preventing a botter from logging in into one of his 30+ accounts and walking or spoofing to claim gyms.

The circle does indicate difficulty of the catch, and the shrinking indicates your chances of a nice, great, or excellent throw. Before the update they gave you xp, but they broke it with the recent update, so there's no reason to go for throw bonuses until it's fixed. Harder to catch Pokemon won't necessarily have higher cp or iv, because it's all random, but starters/evolutions usually have yellow-red circles

Well technically the worst moveset a mon could get could make it more than 10% worse than the best moveset, so it could be more important than IV's, but a mon with perfect IV's and like, the second best moveset is usually better than the best with shit IV's.

Lucky egg + mass evolve.

Find somewhere you can walk in large circuits to hit multiple pokestops on cool-down while catching LITERALLY EVERYTHING.

It's all you can do to recover, at your stage in the game.

You'll get good battle mons when you're in your 18+ level range. you could probably whittle down the gym with enough cp ~1000 shitmons

I walk another half mile to the spot where you can do circuits around 5-7 pokestops, the waterside drops out magikarp/psyduck/poliwag/tentacool/goldeen and their evos to people too, plus all the drowzee you can eat along that route.

I only started playing yesterday due to not having a phone, I'm level 8 now and my GF who's not had chance to play it outside of this week is 14.
