Firered/Leafgreen Blue is much better.

Honestly Blue probably has my favourite team of any Champion. Nice balance of types, and Pidgeot not withstanding, all of them are pretty strong mons.

Just beat him for the first time since RS .Skarmory has like no weakness except Fire and since all the fire pokes in ORAS(there's like literally two of them) are shitty I didn't have one.

Mega Metagross can take 16 hits from neutral moves.

Plus you get there kind of under leveled if like me you just try to get through Victory Road with as little encounters as possible.

This is the only league that gave me trouble

But he didn't use Pidgeot in Yellow neither in the PWT, and it wasn't his highest leveled Pokémon in GSC.
In FRLG, he replaces Pidgeot with Heracross and Rhydon with Tyranitar.

The only time that Pidgeot was his "ace", was in the HGSS battles, and its weird thinking that Pidgeot is also Falkner's.

when you load up literally any game, the easy mode is selected by default and you have to select medium/hard to play those. Don't complain about the game being easy if you play on easy mode.

protip: if you're gonna cherry pick the ONLY game in the main series with a difficulty mode, then remember that it starts you off at normal difficulty. The two 'unlockable' modes are Hard mode, and, guess what? Easy mode.

Pokemon at its default is normal. Exp. Share is an item set on for default.
