It took me until the end of the game to realize 4/6 of my XY team were female.

Not sure what the autists are upset about. I don't want to have sex with my Pokémon. If I have a masculine Pokémon that's a female or a feminine Pokémon that's male I could not care less.

I personally don't care. I've never really seen it an issue, if that's how the species is, then there's nothing I can do change it. My male Lopunny will forever stay in the house playing Zelda and my female Machamp will break every lift-ups. And if I end up with a male Entemaid, then it will be the most fabulous mother fucker in the entire region.

I don't care during the maingame. But in the post game I need some pokemon to exclusively be one gender or another because of slight autism, but its minor things like wanting a male weavile because of being a bro or a female machamp because fuck the game.

Something similar happened to me in ORAS, where 2/3 of my team was female and I didn't realize until later on.

I only care about gender when it comes to certain pokemon. For instance - I never want a male Gardevoir, and I wouldn't want a female Machamp - cases where the pokemon's design and "feeling" are obviously closer to one sex than the other.

I also try to usually get half a team of males and half females, but it's not necessary and it's just to appease some slight autism

Nowadays I have the opposite problem where I try to get female pokemon on my team when I can help it.

I much prefer a male Milotic. It is more fitting in my mind. I wish the make Milotic were the ones that had the long headfins instead of the females. It's interesting that Milotic seems to be the only Pokemon where the female has larger/longer features; the creators probably see it as a female.

I can almost understand something like Machamp, who physically resembles the human form, but saying that somehow Lapras is "feminine" or a Haxorus "masculine" is fucking backwards.

By "animals" they clearly refer to other pokemon. Seriously, we haven't even seen any real world pokemon in the anime since the original series and no mention of our world in the dex entries since gen 1.

And for those that don't think pokemon eat other pokemon, you really need to go back to those biology classes.

Kinda meant by in the original anime series, there were occasionally real world animals shown like a mongoose or Ash dressed like a cow. Since then however, it has been established the Pokemon World is its own world, completely separate from ours so no real world animals. They were probably used in the original for comedic effect and to make like an idea for people as to how pokemon were compared to real world animals, like how in Ghastly's pokedex entry it says it can knock out an elephant with its gas. Kinda hive you and idea just how powerful it is, not that real elephants live in the pokemon world.

Serperior is the epitome of a princely Pokemon. It's elegant, fancy, but not actually feminine.
