most forgettable is aggron
not even as good as head smashin' normal aggron with an item
but not as awful as mega steelix, so less noteworthy than mega steelix
looks stupider than normal aggron too

I've seen it do a lot of damage in vgc but it absolutely commits you to pure TR and most of the higher end teams are TR option

TR option teams have a mode where they can run and operate in trick room, so they can run in normal speed or trick room depending on which pokes you bring etc. Camerupt cannot run in normal speed at all unfortunately so he's not a great choice as a mega for such a team

it is possible to make pure TR work but it's not as successful consistently as the TR option teams

Why is Pinsir used though? It's OU but it dies so fast and gets assfucked by stealth rock, I've still seen it used more than Mega Aggron which tanks even super effective hits for days.

It resists ice,fairy and dragon but what is it's niche? I'm pretty curious.

I use mega aggron because it takes like 2-4 super effective attacks to kill it, but it's not really that strong when it faces enemies that it can't OHKO and gets easily worn down through status effects.

RestTalk Mega Aggron is incredible in Doubles, great partner for my Noivern and some others. He can't even be killed by status, and the opponent sometimes won't even have the firepower to kill him after my other offensive threats have done a number on them.

70 def 80 sdef is not resilient enough to survive reliably in doubles, I would describe it as worse than mediocre at best, and rest talk is pretty terrible in doubles especially with speed 50 and the fact that you have only two slots left for offense and usually have to forego protect as well as not being able to actually choose your move. If you've been successful with it I will take your word for it but I've never come up against one I couldn't ruin easily and can't recall seeing it place in a competition
