If you are using DeSmuME go to Config > 3D Settings > Choose OpenGL in the Renderer.

Yeah somewhat, mostly it is down to the emulator because it is not 100% accurate.

No, it's usually less accurate than the software renderer, but hey, use what works. Desmume is a piece of shit, it's amazing that PC didn't get as good an emulator as fucking Android did.

Speaking of emulator problems does anyone know how to get rid of this annoying little white line on the bottom left? This didn't happen with the previous versions of Desmume only the recent one.

Just switch to Desmume X432R even if it's a little outdated, the features are better. Like the ability to have the unimportant screen be smaller than the one you actually use for most games.
