Scientifically speaking, Lurantis would want to be pursued by actual bugs regardless of whether it was male or female. It would want the bug to spread its pollen to the next Lurantis. That's exactly how plants that mimic insects work.

Lurantis is a very cleverly designed Pokemon. Like >>27608932 anon said. Orchids mimic other insects to help with pollination. Orchid mantises mimic orchids with their camouflage/coloration, so GF had the idea to make an orchid mantis Pokemon be the orchid.

It's my favorite gen7 'mon revealed thus far.

Good hidden ability, decent movepool and good stat distribution. Grassmons have been specially touched by gamefreak in recent years, they want to make up for the shittyness of the type, so it has somewhere around 50% chance to be ok.

Pretty sure this will get swords dance and also pretty sure chlorophyll didn't matter in gamr. All it takes is being decently fast and recently strong in an offense
