I noticed since Japanese people are non-confrontational, their artists just leave, delete their work or password lock their domains because of how much their shit gets reposted via hyperlinking and other sources(and probably "flaming), and they know English speaking people do it too. That's why they have red disclaimers in bad English telling people not to repost/redistribute before you enter their domains.
Some outraged pixiv artists were up in arms, demanding IP bans on anyone outside of Japan because of how bad art theft gets, and many of them still complain on twitter about it to this day.
It's kind of grody OP takes pride in editing someone else's art, but it's better left contained to this board if he really must. I won't cry and tell him to stop and agree with the message of pic related, but yea, just don't like the idea of it being promoted as positive/something we ought do and spread around.
