Started off decent & went to shit following the Plasma attack ep being postponed.

Cilan was okay but they tried too hard to with the whole "Hey guys this totally isn't Brock's replacement!" routine. Not to mention Iris did fuckall other than her two-note lines while her Dillerzard shit was absolutely pointless.

Worst league by fucking far as well. On the other hand the best eps/battles were in the "Rival tourney" arcs. Sad to see so much effort put into fucking filler only leading up to the horseshit of a League.

BW had only a few redeeming factors, really. One was Krookodile, one was the Team Rocket side-story, one was the very few endearing moments Iris got, one was chubby Skyla, and one was purple-hair chick whose name I forget so much I must have a block on it.
In exchange for those perks, we got the most mentally challenged Ash to date, Brock gets dropped for shitty green Brock, Iris shits up the joint for no good reason, half of Ash's team is Literally Who tier, and that fucking league makes me want to punch kittens.

What was so bad about it?

I didn't watch it but I'm sure it didn't have the sheer amount of filler Johto had, or having the worst incarnation of Brock that Sinnoh had. I heard they even make Team Rocket competent in that for a while, which sounds like am interesting change.

Couldn't care less about the pokemon league, but what makes it worst than the others when most of them arent particularly good shows anyway.

Ash was the worst Ash to date. Furthermore, Ash went from DP levels of amazing competency where his league battle was top 4 where he KO'd a previously unhittable Darkrai and then tied with the trainers Latios. He did what no one came remotely close to doing, and then he shits the bed hard in Unova forgetting things as basic as type matchups.
