it is related to the fact that it has white smoke or whatever so intimidate can't make it eat a white herb by accident.
you need to basically max its speed
you pair it with like.... xatu, which makes this hard to disrupt, xatu needs simple beam
use simple beam on torkoal and shell smash
now your torkoal is at +4/+4/+4 att/satk/spd
you will deal at least some damage before it goes down.
Note: Even with all these huge bonuses it still isn't unstoppable or anything, which goes to show you how bad it is. But it does take things out! And no other pokemon can do this!
