Hey /vp/, for those of you who have bank, how do you organize your pokemon in it, if at all? Do you do it by dex no. or by type, or do you have your own way to categorize them?

I have the first section of pages organized by dex number, for ease of access when I get(got) a new game to put them on it and complete the dex without having to search for each individually.

After that, no particular order, as any Pokemon I use regularly are on my "main" game.

You know you can separate your boxes by groups, right? So, if you create a group for your dex, you can easy access it by choosing the dex group withouth having to worry if there are other boxes before/after it so you don't have to navigate all boxes.

My early boxes are all my breedjects, in case I want to give them away or breed a new version of a Pokemon I already have, etc.

Everything else is just a giant mess for like 50-60 boxes or something.

Originally i was gonna do it by dex number and adding in any later prevo's and evo's to their corresponding mon (eg.magby, magmar magmortar). But now i've decided to do it more thematically within each region.

I simply organize them by types. At least, that's how I initially started. Afterwards, I just continued to put them one after the other as they came on, shinies, competitive bred and Legendary.

I've organized my 101% Living Dex by number, with alternate forms, gender differences and mega evolutions all being grouped together with their "main" form.

>Bulbasaur → Ivysaur → Venusaur → Mega Venusaur → Charmander → etc.

I've marked Pokémon I use for battles so that I can easily search for them after organizing them.

Yes you can. All you need is a simple form-change cheat. The only Pokémon you can't have in Bank is Sky Shaymin, Trimmed Furfrou and B/W Kyurem.

One set is for my national Dex, which is woefully not complete

Next set is for pokemon ready for battle
Next set is for breeding guys, including pokemon in special pokéballs from hgss
After that is pokemon that are special in one way or another, extra legendaries, event pokemon, shiny pokemon, stuff I can't get normally.

They were strictly by dex number. But i've decided the dex number system is just too arbitrary and which leads to having unrelated pokemon from completely different environments right next to each other. I figured i'd organise them by area's they are first encounterd in game.

I'd imagine GF/TPC has back-ups of everyone's banks so they could restore them if there's a fuck up. If your pokémon are stored on a cartridge and your save is corrupted or the cart is stolen or lost, your pokémon are gone for good.

When you first enter pokémon bank, you go to a "general" group, where all your 100 boxes are. But you can actually assign any box you want to a designated group, let's say, living dex. So those boxes would be gone from this "general" bank group and would only be found in the "living dex" group.

Here is my bank, as an example, sorry about the quality, my phone is a piece of shit.
