BW is actually pretty decent until Nimbasa. Then it gets meh and when it reaches Season 2 it becomes a trainwreck. Episode N is disappointing and Decolora is pointless but not as bad as it sounds

But even before it got actually bad, the series as a whole was despised for considerably small things that really really triggered people.
