Update is shit and I'm tired of this app. The "Pokemon" brand carried it far enough for me but now I just see it as the hollow, soulless cash grab it truly is. Even my normie gf ditched it for the tcg. I know it's a little much to expect these devs to really make progress, but damn why not swing for the fences?

I have no need to change my nickname, and I haven't done much pokemon hunting today, so I haven't noticed any major changes.

I think the new "sightings" system is terrible though.

I would have been fine leaving the game at the last update, all I want is a higher drop rate for healing items, and to fix the muting issue on android.

Is this stuff good enough to evolve? According to the calculator they will all be 1000-1200, but should I hold out even longer incase I find or hatch something strong?

I guess I'm one of the testers, since my nearby pokemon screen has changed. It's now got the pokemon, and a patch of grass behind them. Not sure what this indicates, since I'm about to head to bed, but if nobody posts about it before tomorrow, I'll investigate further.

In other news, I hope this new message when going above a certain speed doesn't fuck with the scanfag python script. Probably wont, but you never know.

In the 8 stops that I've been too, I have gotten 5 eggs. One is currently incubating in the incubator that you get from the start that has infinite uses.

Each egg I've gotten requires walking 5km

Buy if you feel like breeding quickly and efficiently or seem to get a high amount of eggs. Otherwise, if you are okay with hatcing eggs one at a time, no essential need.

Yes they did. When the 3 step thing was working the closest pokemon would be at the top left of your list. Then the steps would gradually decrease to 0 as you found it.

The PokemonGo-Map is the base source of all the map projects that come from it.
There are a few easier to use variations https://github.com/mchristopher/PokemonGo-DesktopMap but not sure if they have all the features of the original.

Catch rates still seem fucked. Maybe even worse. No way a 120 CP ekans should take 6 pokeballs and then flee. Also the pokeballs would occasionally fly over the pokemon with the force of a canon.

Tracking seems more accurate, if only because you have to be right on the pokemon's ass for it to work at all.

When you set the bar you have to make sure the stardust needed to power up amount is as small as possible while still possibly being in the CP range.

So when you're moving the CP bar you should actually be paying more attention to the amount of stardust changing and trying to minimize how much that costs.

I had 230 Pokeballs, 50 great balls, and 30 ultra balls.

I can't use Pokeballs as fast as I'm getting them from Pokestops.

So far the only thing I use my coins for is bag expansions.

I go through pokestop paradise after work, and I'd like to fill up as much as I can through the week, and getting the full bag notification is highly irritating, especially when I know how fast those supplies will dwindle over the weekend, when I won't be going through pokestop territory.

I suppose once I hit the cap I'll work on pokemon storage upgrades, which will hopefully be in time for gen 2.

I'm not going to worry about lucky eggs since I level at a pretty brisk pace. I don't see the point in power leveling after you hit 20 anyway.

Anon is not just talking about sheepfucking farmers in the middle-of-ass-nowhere here. I live in a suburb of ~70k people and have exactly three pokestops within a mile of my house, two in the complete opposite direction from the third. The nearest one is half a mile from my house, which wouldn't be a bad walk at all if I could cut straight there - but I can't, because that would necessitate walking through people's private property, climbing their fences, etc. or tromping through undeveloped woodsy areas.
