i feel like the sandcastle pokemon is a reference to things that happen at beaches where you have someone who digs a large hole at the beach and then has the walls collapse in on them, successfully killing person due to suffocation, unless saved. It's incredibly dark, like ghost pokemon should be.

I like sandcastle. I'm pretty indifferent about the others though. Never really liked the designs (Vanilluxe was probably best out of them though), but never outright hated them. I hope everything that has been shown isn't the best Alola has to offer though. I'm pretty hyped because I like pretty much all the designs so far (excluding Baracat if it's real).

My favorite gen is gen 1 but I always love all the jokey, fun pokemon. I unironically love booboo keys too.

I think pokemon designs throughout all games are pretty consistently good. I just don't like a lot of gen 4 new evos and some mega pokemon designs are lacking.
