It's great. I think the reason that people think it looks shit is they view it as one big blob with the sectioning dismissed. The mouth will likely be closed in-game, to emphasize the sectioned aspect. It's just open in the CoroCoro issue to highlight the ghostly nature of it.

People don't get it OP, it uses a sandcastle disguise as a lure, yes again, we're not done with mimic Pokemon this gen, so that it may glomp preys. Don't you know how scary quicksand can be if someone who doesn't know how to go about it?

I like the concept, if its supposed to be a mimic, but I don't like the design, I think the other mimic ghost pokemon have done a better job representing the object without looking too much like it.

My main problem is the really simple art and the (I love the series but) yo-kai watch esque design. A different design for a sand castle mon could have made it viable.
