For those ordering from Japan for the first time please be aware of the shipping options. For large plush that won't fit a SAL small packet shipment it may be cheaper to pick the more expensive options that are just dependant on weight, since SAL parcel is shit. On small items the base price of expensive options like EMS/DHL/FedEx is usually too much, but you can get similar speeds at a lower cost from stores that offer Airmail.
If you're using HLJ it's not much of a big deal because you can check the price of each option available before locking yourself into it. Plenty of places will give quotes for every option but may require you contact them to change from a previous choice.
If you're not in an awkward country for customs, the rough wait times you should expect:
>EMS/DHL/FedEx - 2 to 10 days>Airmail - 5 to 14 days>SAL - 14 to 40 days depending on time of year and how fucked you are, just under 3 weeks is the average for non-rural US/UKRegistered mail options for Airmail and SAL allow you to claim compensation if your item is lost or damaged in shipping, but that happening is pretty rare. Cheap orders you may not even care, but if your order is over 6000yen in value you may want to consider using EMS or DHL for their higher insurance rates.

>>27696361The main reason to switch back to Amiami is if you're buying scale figs and they go 35% off while HLJ is a measly 15% that's just the tax foreigners don't have to pay anyway.
