Goodra was shown in one of recent trailers. Furfrou was on one of concept arts. That's twice as much as Gen 5 pokemon shown, plus there is the fact that Gen 6 was literally two times smaller than Gen 5.

Also, the failure of pushing a second Lucario probably left a sour aftertaste in GameFreak's mouth. As a result Gen 5 doesn't really have any iconic (as in marketing bait) designs.
