Synchro when fully evolved and using Z-move.

I mean, that's the only thing I can think of. Boost to stats all-around and not as great as a Mega, but it gets to use a Z-move to kind of make up for it.

This seems likely given that Poke Ride is "typical of the way of life in Alola" and the rideable Pokemon can be called on at "any time". Presumably you'll learn about it early on and be able to go from island to island with ease.

Wasn't this IMMEDIATELY disproved the second Z-Moves were announced? I mean yeah the concept art final stages are no doubt real, but tacking Synchro in these games just seems really retarded

As far as the anime is concerned, Before Z moves were announced, people's assumptions of Synchro was fusing like Ash Greninja

That is not the case

It is just Z moves

And doing dance moves to unleash the Z moves

Or, you know, this symbol for the trainer is shown right after collecting a Z-Crystal. Or, and this is just a crazy theory, the same symbol is shown twice when using Z-Moves and the cutscene is just a long drawn out one when using the new gimmick?
