What's the intended way the Kanto games are meant to be played? Playing through FireRed and some of the nonlinearity is throwing me off. Am I supposed to get Cut before challenging Misty? Do I get the Silph Scope after I've enountered the Ghost in Pokemon Tower, or do I beat Erika first? Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the amount of freedom the game gives you at times, but it is difficult at times trying to figure out where exactly GameFreak wants me to go.
