Synchro will basically work as mega evolution, you go into battle and use a special item that both you and your pokemon have to hold to evolve. However, it's not just a normal Z-crystal. Kukui gives you a R-Crystal (Rockruff) and one for whichever starter you chose after you beat 2 kahunas. Only Rockruff and the starters can do this. They have multiple synchro evos depending on what island you are, but you get a special outfit to fuse with your pokemon, and the fusion will be a mix of that. All the pokemon in the chinese leaks are real. There will also be a wallaby fighting type pokemon, a torch fire/ghost pokemon that is supposed to be a dead spirit that is used for Hawaii rituals. It evolves into a tribal campfire. There is a mountain goat pokemon that is a grass/dark type. Alolan forms are exclusive to Kanto mons only, and some notable ones are a fire/poison weezing, an electric type primeape, and a rock type rapidash.
