Fairies can't counter effectively because of:

Iron Tail
Gunk Shot

and if your into that sort of thing hone claw if you can manage it raises accuracy for both. You can even use u-turn pretty well due to it's high speed.

The only thing holding it back is what they decide to do with it's base stats.
