You can tell that they're really taking advantage of the 3D models this gen. Nearly everything looks much better in-game than it does in official art.

So far every design I disliked as concept art I really liked in-game.
Bewear, Wishiwashi and Topu Keko all look way better in motion.
If Sandcastle can pull it off as well, I'll be impressed and glad.

Nah. Unlike the sprite-based gens, Pokemon can now have animation quirks to give them personalities. Things like the way Wishiwashi's eyes swim really make the design stand out, but is nearly impossible to convey in a still image.

Alola Raichu is another good example. The strange wave-like undulation makes the design a lot more memorable than it would have been if we only saw it standing still.
