With the 70-ish (too lazy to look, I believe it was 70) Kalos Pokemon, several types had very few that were fully evolved: Bug, Poison, Ground, and Ice come to mind immediately. Each had 1-2 fully evolved new Pokemon. Very depressing.
With this new Alola dex, we're seeing most types appear more than once. Granted, it might yet be as pathetic as Kalos for some types — we don't know. The sheer amount of Ghosts alone, though, makes me hopeful. Ghost is usually a very rare type, like Ice. Large quantities of it might suggest a larger dex, or at least rarer types getting more Pokemon than usual.
Even if some types are neglected a bit again, Alolan forms are the next-best thing!
