I don't know why anyone was expecting an alola cubone when they only showed us marowak. They've always shown the full family of Alola forms if it exists, and standalones separately.

It was the exact same thing with exeggutor, and it'll be the same thing with Alola Raichu

It evolves from normal cubone, so you get access to everything cubone can learn.

This also means that Alola Marowak can learn Ice Beam if it ends up being a special attacker.

Thought it said the reason was to counter his predator, iets gonna be bewear ghost counters normale fighting and thanks to fluffy he takes extra damage from fire, I think bewears wanne comfort the stad cubones and just hugs thema to death, creating a ghost\fire marowak, I think this kinda fits cause marowak theme was always somewhat vengeance related

.... I was originally going to do 6 Cutiefly's, until they revealed the new Exeggutor. Now I have to have one of them. And Vikavolt just looks cool.

The video doesn't actually show the normal Cubone evolving into Alolan Marowak. They cut away. Could easily be there's Alolan Cubone as well and a ground type Cubone evolves into a Ground type Marowak.

Lurantis is possible.
Bewear is probably a herbivore/insectivore like red pandas are.
Vulpix line lives in snowy mountains, likely very far from Cubone.
