If you're basing it solely off of level, sure, but it's prety clear that the final executive you fight is intended to be the strongest one, who has 3 Pokemon.

It might be the Exp. Share, but I thought Kalos was a big offender for having no gym leaders past a team of three. Usually by the end game it was at least a little challenging if they had a team of 5 since either the 4th or 5th Pokemon would take down my Pokemon that's super effective against the gym.

I'm still mad about the removal of facilities. I loved those, they provided a different twist to the battling system. Only one I hated was that one battle facility in gen 3 where I had no control over my Pokemon's attacks, that was just bs.

thank you for proving my point. Not only are all of Bruno's Pokemon a higher level, but he has another Pokemon added to his team. Elite Four members that has one less Pokemon can actually make a huge difference if that happens to all of them.

I "literally" never said that.
I'm comparing the FIRST battle with the team leader(which is effectively is N until Ghetsis at the end) with the FIRST leader battle of SM.
The earlier you fight the less Pokemon they have, and they progress through the game with more Pokemon, stronger and higher leveled.

Gen 5's post game boosted the elite 4 up each member having a full team of 6 Pokemon and being high levels so if you didn't return to the elite 4 after then of course you thought it was easy. Same thing with most of the games after like gen 3 usually they buff up after post game events. Gen 6 had no post game really therefor had the game actually end with a weak ass max of lvl 60 teams at the end and no returning to the elite 4 to find they have more Pokemon as well as higher levels

Also come on learn to read between the lines. You don't fight any leader as much as N, he comes before the first and after the second gym in quick succession. He's a little different in that his Pokemon are never actually the same so they don't "improve" through the game but get "changed", but still.

Anyone remember the Totem pokemon mentioned in this reveal video? I mean Gumshoos could either have Strong Jaw which boosts biting moves by 50% or Stakeout which causes the Pokemon to deal twice the damage to a Pokemon that just switched out. I don't see why you guys have more trouble with the gen 5 Pokemon League than gen 1's then. Played through both recently and I needed a higher level team for gen 1.
