He had a 3000 years life. He could have traveled to another Alola in search of his Floette but I doubt that he became a king beong so depressed (or that he imported the Meowths because Meowth is not in the Kalos regional dex)

Magearna was made using AZ's research, so maybe. It could also be why Zygarde decided to move half of itself to Alola, and root the other half in Kalos.

It is the monarchy in Alola to be specific, OP. Not the ones in Kalos, IIRC AZ was a royal from Kalos. But AZ might make an appearance as the Chinese leak mentioned something about his cameo.
