>>27712003Its not like a traditional form, its more of a subspecies, if you trade it to a future, non-alolan game, it will stay in it's alolan form. Same goes for how if you trade a marowak from say, the VC red and blue versions, it will stay in its kanto form (this was actually why they included that transfer feature to the VC release).
What I have to wonder is, will kanto cubone evolve into alolan marowak? Will dual-stage alolan forms also keep their form or switch? Will a kanto vulpix evolve into an alolan ninetales or will only alolan vulpix evolve into alolan ninetales.
