So they're just showing off all the shitty designs and Alolan re-designs first...right? Because I'm still not really blown away by any of these new mons. At what point do we get to the good stuff?

To me these are the best Pokemon they've released since Gen 3. Except the starters ofcourse.

When they start showing some evolutions

But I agree, nothing has particularly impressed me except Ninetales and I don't really want to count Alolan forms

There's only a few that I really like. Popplio, Fomantis, Lurantis, Comfey, and Komala are the ones that come to mind.

At this point with every other gen, I've always had more than just a handful of mons that I really liked.
