>>27743384I would like to learn digital art in general, with a style like that guy/gal's (forget the name) because, surprise, I can index it. The most I can do with my mouseless laptop as of now is make slight edits and make images with very few colors indexed (sometimes requires fiddling with pixels where colors meet).
If you didn't know what indexed images are, I'll explain. In normal images, each pixel has a few attributes, such as how much red/blue/green, black/white, etc. In an indexed image, each color gets a number. Instead of having all the info for every single pixel, each pixel gets a number that corresponds to a color, which can reduce the filesize. Some formats don't support this, JPG for example making an indexed file larger. PNG and GIF are two popular formats that do support indexing. I'll stop my explanation here, that's the basics.
I don't know why I am so obsessed with indexed images.
