Alola is the second region with royal family, the other one was Kalos. We know that Kalos was at war with another region, that was when AZ's Floette died

Here's part from Alolan Meowth description

"The once-rare Alolan Meowth became feral when the monarchy was destroyed, and they have now become regular Pokémon, seen as commonly in the Alola region as elsewhere."

So monarchy in Alola was destroyed. By whom? When? If it wasnt significant they wouldnt mention something like the demise of royal family in Alola

Is this another hint at ties with Kalos' history?
