One with Digimon/Monster Hunter/SMT/Godzilla? Imagine hunting a Tyranitar with your friends. Or devil summoning Shin Gojira to fight a legendary. Or saving your stored Pokemon from an evil digimon by going into the PC. Or merging with your pokemon and becoming Typhlosion.

That'd be kind of boring and lonely in a game about monster farming. Even in most Digimon games they know that is a weird concept in a creature game and allow you to raise and carry multiple Digimon.

A one-off Pokemon X Zelda would be cool. Catch and train a team of Octoroks, ChuChus, etc. and the bosses would be the legendaries.

I would absolutely love a Hyrule-themed region in a future Pokemon game. Pokes based on pols' voice, tektites, moldorms... Three legendary Goddess pokemon, a Gerudo villain team. Starters should be dodongo, gohma, and river zora.
