Cacnea was left behind with Gardenia.

I think all of the pokemon that they captured while in Unova where given away to the Team Rocket, and I'm not sure about the rest.

Every time he comes up in conversation with my mates we all agree James has a fantastic ability to bond with Pokemon and draw out their potential, but because he engages in stupid schemes rather than actual battling he gets wrecked.

If he followed the path of a trainer, rather than thief, he would easily rival Ash.

Everyone from DP and Hoenn is chilling at the Rocket Base, besides Chimemcho, Dustox, and Cacnea, who were left behind to recover from an illness, released, and left to train respectively. All their Unova mons were given to Giovanni.
