Nah that would be way too hard marketing wise because you'd have new 12 starters at once.

If anything i can see a split evo, but not 4 different ones per starter

I was under the impression it'd be a single final evo, but with different secondary types and probably minor design changes depending on island. That was probably from one of the fake leaks, tho.

I bet they change form when their final evolutions use Z Moves. They'll be like Ash-Greninja.

You know what would be easier marketing wise?
Different Rockruff evolution based on your game version.

They did a similar thing with Mega stones but it wasn't the same as actual evolution.

Rockruff + Starter1 = Wereruff1
Rockruff + Starter2 = Wereruff2
Rockruff + Starter3 = Wereruff3

This is the most reasonable theory going around along with the fact that they'll all be capable of special transformation.

Yeah this, probably wont be separate evolutions but one evolution with different forms, with each designed to counter whichever starter yours is weak to or something.

No different evolutions/forms based on your starter choice. It's like an evolution version of the legendary beasts from FRLG.

I don't think Rockruff will be a common Pokemon either just like Eevee in the older games.
