i'm in love with historical armor and i love steel types, but i have no clue which one would suit my team

i was thinking excavalier or aegislash but i'd like to hear other suggestions

I hate the steel type. Its so bland and boring, but it has some amazing pokemon. I'd say scizor, since its awesome, badass, can be cute and its very, very good. Lucario is a solid choice, if you can ignore the furfag accusations. Magnezone, mega aggron and escavalier are all great. I guess you can use any of these and then build your team from there

If you want the best just look for anything Uber/OU and run with it like Mawile, Aegislash or Excadrill.

If you want anything "historical armor" related I guess Aegislash would be your best choice.

i think bisharp looks cool, kind of reminds me of ultraman, but i guess i just want a pokemon with good enough defense to really feel like an armored pokemon

and why the fuck is escavalier slower than aggron despite its White description saying it flies around at high speeds

Bronzong is one of my favorites, solid defenses and before the nerf presumably meant for aegislash, only had 2 weaknesses, had either of his abilities remove one weakness.

Which might actually be accurate in several mediums. Pikachu in the anime was seen intercepting real lightning bolts with it's own, and in the games the roaming legendaries are capable of crossing continents in seconds.
