An Alola form is great, but why not do something to help out regular Raichu?

Fix its awful physical defence and boost its Speed, Attack, and Special Attack by a tiny bit. It's the mascot's evolution. There's no reason it shouldn't be a strong pokemon.

Let it learn moves upon levelling up, give it access to more moves it can be taught, let it learn any moves it could learn in Gen 1, and make it so we can teach it Surf.

They need to fix it so Stone evolutions can learn their own stuff.

That or make the movesets more varied between each, where the evo can only learn it, or the pre-evo can only learn it.

Staryu would be a good example. Make Recover innately learned by Starmie, but otherwise the only way to get it would be for Staryu to learn it before Evo. Flesh that shit out gamefreak.

Alola Gengar could go the route of one of Hawaii's ghost legends? It could be Pele-style and be Fire Ghost or be a NightMarcher and become Ghost/Fighting?

It's hard to say, but I'd like to see this really happen.

Farfetch'd gets an evolution with the Super Luck ability and a min-maxed, just-short-of-Archeops tier BST. Becomes Fighting/Flying and learns all blade/slashing related moves it didn't already learn, such as Sacred Sword, and some priority.

Evolves by using a new Four-Leaf Clover item on a Farfetch'd that has hit level 100.
