Bogleech is trash for that post. He hates Lucario because of it's popularity and fanbase, and he let that personal bias influence his criticality while reviewing it. He makes so many complaints about Lucario that would also apply to Garchomp, but went and gave Lucario 0 stars and Garchomp 5.

You didn't read both articles, right? Bogleech mentioned Garchomp flaws, even try to fix it, but in his opinion Garchomp makes more sense in all details than Lucario. Lucario is too flawed for him and that's the reason for his punctuation.

The reason for the discrepancy is that Garchomp STILL looks good with those things and they fit with its theme, while Lucario doesn't. 0/5 is for Pokemon that require total overhaul to be redeemed, and Garchomp is still good with its minor flaws.

I think Lucario's fine, but it goes too far into "cool and strong-looking." Even the "coolest" Pokemon in Gen I were sort of goofy (Charizard) or grotesque (Mewtwo). Lucario is neither.
